Some wonderful news I received from Home Partners of America via email was that they had reduced rents in many of their markets! This is welcomed news as clients who may be interested in the Lease With The Option To Purchase Program have one more opportunities as far as properties which may be available for them.
If you recall one of my original videos where I reviewed Home Partners of America and their Lease With The Right To Purchase Program, one of my original cons about the program was the higher than average rent amounts. When I compared rents with other properties I noticed their asking rents tended to be just a little bit higher. Now with this reduction their rents are more in line with what the rest of the market is and that is a plus for the consumer.
Keep in mind when I mentioned reduced rents I am only referring to new clients and the rents they are offering them. I was only told about those rents, if you are currently in a lease with Home Partners I do not believe that applies to you. Also don't forget these rents are the starting rents we are discussing, as with any property you choose you have the ability to ask for repairs, paint, etc... which will inevitably increase your rent.
Overall I think this is great news for the consumer! If you are thinking of just leasing a property the Home Partners of America Lease With The Option To Purchase program became just that much more competitive!
